31-10
'10 Last cursist of 2010 Vincent finished his Open Water course, Yess!
Although the conditions where a bit rough, you did a excellent job, Sehr gut
gemacht! Vincent is the guy in the picture, telling with very convincing diving
hand signals , using both hands, that he wants to go UP. Or were you just telling
your instructor Nicole, that the sepia and the slug were really cool? Anyways
we wish you lots of fun with your brand new Open Water Diving certificate!!

20-10
'10 Congratulations cursists Since today we have a new scuba diver
in our midst. Stefan (in the picture on the left next to his girlfriend Esmeralda
who is in the same picture but then on the right) goed gedaan en gefeliciteerd!
We had some excellent conditions! The water was 20 degrees and the Viz.. was
about 25 meter!! Good thing, your new mask fits the colours of your favorite
footballclub.
6-10 '10 Congratulations cursists Today Sandra finished her Open Water Diver course, gut gemacht Sandra! So, you liked Flying over the big rocky 3d scenery? Remenber those romantic Sea hares (Meerhasen) between the rocks? To bad no diver came along to make a picture of the 3 of us! Anyway, We wish you all the best and hope to see back soon for some fundiving.
1-10 '10 Octopus video Here's a short video of an octopus @ Marina del Este, La Herradura See video

29-08 '10 Congratulations cursists Today Damon finished his Advanced Open Water Diver course, Congratulations!! Good that you enjoyed the Night Dive so much, and how about that flying STINGRAY the next day, That really was 'De Puta Madre!'. Hope to see you back for some diving here in the Costa Tropical.
21-08´10 Seriously Blue We have to admit, the diving conditions here in the Costa Tropical are a bit turbulent this season. We have had dives with a temperature difference of 7 degrees and a visibility changing from good to bad to excellent all in the same dive. This makes the diving quit interesting! Like the other day when we were diving @ Calahonda the Viz.. was Pretty good (15M+), and all of a sudden we encountered this milky cloud at a depth of 20 meter. We thought: There goes the Viz..! Right at the moment we didn’t expect it to get better, we swam out of this cloud and the Viz.. turned from milky into what seemed endless Visibility. Just the bluest blue you can imagine, with a swirling school of sardines in the distance. We hovered there for a few minutes just staring into this crystal clear water, this blue space. It must have been the most superb Viz.. I have ever seen. This is what we call SERIOUSLY BLUE
18-08 '10 Missing Damsels We were wondering where the damsels had gone, well they were just around the corner @ Marina del Este East. During our last dives over there we were surrounded by this huge cloud of damselfish, excellent! see picture
13-08 '10 Congratulations cursists There are 2 more Officially Certified Padi Open Water Divers. Myles you did an excellent Job, well done! Heel goed gedaan Ciaran! You two were the easiest students, we almost feel guilty receiving our money. Good luck as future divers!
31-07 '10 The Diving! The diving is Allright! During some of our last dives we have seen some good stuff here in the Costa Tropical. @ Punta de la Mona we saw the amazing Sunfish (Mola Mola) and saw a big group of large and grimlooking Barracuda's, @ Calahonda we saw one of the biggest Octopus ever, 2 groupers, many different coloured Gorgonians and another Seahorse!! Also the slugs, nudibranches, flat and non-flat worms are seen in many different sizes, shapes and colours. The watertemp is 23-26 dergees celcius, excellent!!
13-07 '10 SEAHORSE ! We thought they were not here anymore since we do not have much seagrass in these parts, HOWEVER WE DID SEE AN 15CM, YELLOW SEAHORSE! This time we did bring a camera and you can see the picture on our facebook page by clicking here.
10-07 '10 A serious up-date: Diving at the moment is GREAT! This time of year the Costa Tropical is @ its best :-) In summer time the waters are ideal; crystal clear & pleasantly warm. Yesterday the water was 23 C and visibility +20m. We saw octopus, sepia/cuttlefish, conger eel, hermit crabs with anemones on their back, millions of Mediterranean Damselfish, nudibranchs, juvenile group, cow breams, 2 banded wrasses etc. etc. Time to join us and discover the Costa Tropical!
3-07 '10 Seriously Webcam Since today we have a webcam installed @ our base and it is pointed at Punta del la Mona in Marina del Este. Click the link above and Check out the sunny coastline of the Costa Tropical. Special thanks 2 Walter for all the 'Nerdy Stuff' which made this webcam possible.
1-07 '10 Mola! Mola! Today we were accompanied by a, not at all shy, Mola Mola (aka Sunfish, Moonfish). @ Fraggle Rock in the Marina del Este Bay, at 14 meter, my two buddies were pointing behind me with great anthousiasm. I look around and there it was blocking the sunlight, I allmost swam into it. It staid with us for a few minutes and checked out all divers in the group. A magical moment, Excellent!!!
